One of the newest officially sanctioned supporters clubs is in the United Arab Emirates. ‘Red Maniacs UAE’ started in 2007 and has gone from strength to strength – they field sides in supporters tournaments, have made several trips to live matches [including the most recent FA Cup Final] and have been visited by a host of United legends.

What is something unique about watching the match in your country or with your mates from the local supporters’ club?

We bring Old Trafford atmosphere here to our venue at UEFA Champions League Experience in YAS mall in Abu Dhabi – the first venue of its kind in the world.

Do you run into supporters of other clubs? Which ones are popular?

Yes, we are in touch and good relationship with many such as MUSC Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Canada, Indonesia, India and many others.

We also have strong ties to the local Juventus supporters club.
